As many of you know, I was on board for a fine arts elective called Music of the Beatles. As life becomes busier, scheduling conflicts become the norm. Such is the case here. My community council meetings are every Monday from 7pm to 9pm. Since I am a board member, I am obligated to attend. Also, the community council committee I chair meets every 2nd and 4th Monday at 6pm. Since the Beatles class is schedule for Monday nights at 6pm, I have no choice but to drop it.
BUT…I’m still going to try to follow the syllabus solely for the fun karaoke project I proposed. Since I am not so familiar with their catalogue, I intend to learn a new Beatles song every week to try at karaoke. I hope that by mid-December, I will have stuck with the project, and Keeh can see me doing a Beatles tune well, when she returns to the States for the holiday.
Meanwhile, I have to fill that vacant course slot with a planning elective, which will likely not be as exciting and require more time commitment for schoolwork. Wah wah.
